Unsolicited Lab Result (ORU) Integration

The requirement was to receive HL7 ORU files over SFTP and then parse and match them to the correct patient in the EMR System. End to End Services were deployed to send the files over SFTP and then a special service was developed to monitor file arrival. The parsing was done using custom parsing techniques and a very detailed patient matching algorithm was developed for this project which will help in matching a file with a patient by comparing the demographics information present in the file with the EMR DB. The algorithm’s functionality can be controlled by the end user. The success rate of the algorithm was 100% and there was not even a single case of false positive matches.
