In the summer of 2012 we began our search for a software developer to create a novel Adobe Photoshop productivity extension. Quite soon we discovered that only a very limited number of companies had the requisite skills to deliver our requirement. Right from the beginning Mindfire stood out as the most well informed and professional firm. The tender process was well managed, accurate and competitively priced.
Mindfire were not the cheapest option but we had confidence in their abilities and felt they understood the requirement best. Throughout the development process Mindfire provided weekly updates and the standard of communication was by far the best we have dealt with from an overseas developer – and we have worked with numerous others. Mindfire are proactive and work to a level of detail and professionalism that puts them in a league of their own based on our 10 years of experience working with outsourcing firms. The project was delivered as planned, with minimal fuss and on schedule after 3 months work.

The programmers working on our projects have all been competent and experienced; but they have also been enthusiastic, dedicated, intelligent and enterprising. The daily 2mv (2-minute video) used on our last project was a terrific innovation and I’m dying to see what they come up with next. The communication is excellent as well, with daily progress updates and periodic Skype sessions to demonstrate the progress. I have thrown a mix of technologies at them: Django, Python, Apache, Unix, Mac OS, etc., and they’ve excelled at all of them, including remotely configuring a new server at my location.
